Sea-questering CO2 with Carbon Kapture
Scope
Carbon Kapture are a UK startup with a nature-based solution to climate change. They grow, harvest, biochar and distribute kelp – trapping and storing excess CO2 from our atmosphere. Back in June 2023, ‘Chief Kelper’ and founder Howard Gunstock got us on board to help out with Carbon Kapture’s PR content and communications strategy.
We started by conducting a communications review, including target audience research, existing content strategy and past performance. This was followed by an analysis and optimisation of both the content and the UX of Carbon Kapture's website.
The original goal was to get more SME’s (small and medium-sized enterprises) on board: leveraging multi-channel targeting and specialised content. However, the scope soon widened to include all segments of the company’s audience.
Rosie continues to contribute marketing assistance and content creation services, including engaging blog posts like this one.
